It's official. Moncton and Saint John will jointly host the 2029 Canada Summer Games.

Catherine Gosselin-Després, chair of the 2029 Canada Games bid evaluation committee, made the announcement in Fredericton on Wednesday morning.

"We know it's going to be a success in Moncton and Saint John," she said. 

New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt said having formerly participated in the Canada Games in Saskatchewan 40 years ago, she was left with a great impression of the province.
