A jury in Moncton has found a Saint John man guilty of second-degree murder.

Kyle Smith-Kingsley stood trial over more than a month for the shooting death of Jacob Wright in Dieppe in 2023.

The jury also found 32-year-old Smith-Kingsley guilty of robbery and disguise with intent.

Smith-Kingsley's case is scheduled to return to court July 7.

Second-degree murder carries an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for at least 10 years. His parole eligibility will be determined by a judge at …
